though-stars-caught-fire asked: Ah, well, this fun thing happened today. The biology department gave away a bunch of their plants from the greenhouse. Apparently they are going in with the White Violet Center to grow some organic fruits and veggies in there. Which is cool...anyways. So they gave a bunch of plants away for free, and I snagged a couple of young aloe vera plants. Also a big striped plant that I don't know...

I'm glad you're having a good time! Though am sorry to hear about the lack of homework. I've got quite a bit of that myself, but have given up on it tonight. I chose today my topic for my final paper in Lori's media class. I'm going to analyze the character of Atticus Finch (from both movie and book) as a progressive character by examining his relationships with different members of the community. I have to include his attitudes towards womens, people of different race, different economic stature, and so on. I don't, however, get to comment about how sexy Gregory Peck looks in glasses and a three piece suit.

Other than that, things are pretty boring! The play is over and it's spring break next week. When is your spring break?

Answer:

Wow! That sounds pretty cool— both about the fruits and vegetables but also the free plants— have you used any aloe yet? :)

Wow! That topic sounds right up your alley— cool! Do you get to present it to the class and show clips of Gregory Peck? :D

My spring break is next week too! I think I was confused when I told you earlier it was the 5th… as the fifth is a Friday, making me silly. :D
